Terence Gayer
Gayer was born in London in 1924, to Irish parents. He taught for many years at NCAD and began to exhibit regularly at the RHA in the 1980s. He has received praise from many of his students including the painter Seán McSweeney who credited him with his introduction to the modern movement. Gayer was a watercolourist, print maker and illustrator with a relatively low output owing to his perfectionist style. www.whytes.ie
