Sine MacKinnon
MacKinnon was born in Newcastle, Co. Down, and often painted in Galway as a young girl. She went to school in England and studied at the Slade. In 1929 the Fine Arts Society held a joint exhibition of Connemara paintings by MacKinnon and Stephen Bone. She later showed at the Reid, Redfern, Leicester, Lefθvre and Arthur Tooth Galleries, London, exhibiting mostly landscapes, still lives, and occasionally surrealist pictures.
