Eugene Joseph MacSwiney
A resident of Cork, MacSwiney is listed as a student of the Crawford School in 1882, and a winner of the Mayor's Prize in 1885. He later taught at the Crawford School. In 1890 he began to exhibit at the RHA, contributing a total of 40 works to throughout his career. During his career he travelled between Dublin and London, where he died in 1936.
