Bill Doyle
'Bill Doyle's Ireland' a retrospective of the work of Dublin born photographer Bill Doyle - known as Ireland's Cartier-Bresson - took place at the Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar from December 2007 to January 2008. Gallery director Tanya Kiang said Doyle produced some of the finest photographs in Ireland, 'finding elegiac and poetic moments in everyday gestures of life, depicting both ordinary and well-known people with the same gentle, respectful approach'. www.whytes.ie
