Frances Biggs
Frances Biggs was a violinist with the RTΙ Symphony Orchestra for 40 years. In 1963 she illustrated Moussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition for RTΙ. She married stone sculptor Michael Biggs (1928-1993) and began drawing and painting. Later, Biggs began to concentrate on making tapestries and stained glass works and was a follower of Evie Hone (1894-1955) and continued her practice of working in stained glass.
