  • Christopher Keogh exhibited at the RHA in 1946 from Johnstown Lodge, Finglas, and in 1963 and ’66 from Finnstown House, Lucan. The Keogh family bought Finnstown House after the Second World War and during the 1960s hosted a number of hunt balls for the South County Dublin Hunt. The house was sold in 1984. It is thought that the figure in the present work is a huntsman in riding hat and three-quarter length jacket.
